So I weighed in today, around 33hrs into my first 36hr fast, and wasn’t too disappointed.
246.1lbs (111.63kg), which is an increase of 0.4lbs (0.18kg) since my last weigh-in on December 23rd.
In that time, I’ve eaten a truck-load of Xmas Dinners with all the trimmings (3 in total!), many yummy mince pies, half a Tesco Finest Xmas pudding, brandy cream, yule logs, ice cream, wine, cider, rum, bread, cheese, Doritos and dips…well, you get the idea.
So putting on JUST 0.4lbs in that period is pretty impressive and one of the smallest increases in weight I’ve ever seen over Christmas! So I’ll take that as a huge win!
This does bring my average weekly weight loss down to 4.1lbs (1.86kg), but that is still huge – remembering that I’m targeting an average weight loss of 2.56lbs (1.16kg) per week to hit my 6-month target of losing 66.6lbs. So I’m still way ahead of schedule.
Onwards and upwards (or downwards, as far as weight goes!).
