Now that I’m getting back on track, finally, and have some real confidence that I now have the right tools to achieve my weight loss goals (exercise + diabetic friendly diet!) – it’s time to give myself a clear goal to shoot for.
Given my current weight of 246.9lbs (111.9kg) I find myself exactly 66.9lbs (30.34kgs) from my original target weight of 180lbs (81.6kgs) or 12 stone 12lbs.
I was initially thinking that I’d set another 50lbs target as I know I’ve lost 50lbs in 6 months before just through fasting, without exercise, AND while feasting on a high carb diet. But you know how much I love a challenge. And given my current diabetic friendly diet, combined with fasting and exercise, I feel confident I can lose 66.9lbs and get to that original target.
So that’s what I’m shooting for: 180lbs (81.6kgs) or 12 stone 12lbs.
That would be the only fitting way to finish off this blog – getting to my original plan / target. That would mean I did in fact lose 100lbs through fasting (and other means) even if I didn’t do it fast as the title suggested!
Let’s see if we can do it in just 6 months! It’s currently 21st December, just a few days before Christmas, so my deadline is 21st May. Watch this space!
