I haven’t posted in a while because there’s been little movement weight-wise. Obviously, whenever you lose weight quite quickly your body can take some time to adjust.
I definitely had a bit of a slow down in terms of exercise as well which must have been a factor, and also wasn’t fasting much at all – usually just taking a slightly late breakfast. But I was pretty diligent about tracking my calorie intake and ensuring I didn’t go back up again so that’s the main thing.
Over the last week I’ve been running and cycling again and that’s pushed me past this little plateau.
I’m now at 18 St 6.3 lbs (258.3 lbs / 117.4 kgs) which takes me to a total of 11.5 lbs lost (5.2 kgs) in 7 weeks.
The slowdown means my average weight loss is now down to 1.6 lbs (0.72 kgs) per week. It’s still within my comfortable range since I’m shooting for 1.5-2 lbs per week.
I am excited to lose my first stone – just another 3.5 lbs until I’m there. And then the next major milestone is getting under 18 stone – into the 17 stone range. In principle, I should be able to get there in just three or four weeks at this rate.
