Just had a quick weigh in – I’m at 35 hours into my next 36hr fast, and after another 3.5km walk/run last night.
Very pleased to see I’ve lost another 2lbs in 2 days since my last weigh-in. Not sure how long I can keep up this kind of momentum but I’m going to enjoy it while it lasts!

That said…today I am nursing an injury, resulting from last night’s run! I went out quite late as I often do – just before sunset. And I mainly run cross country, on trails.
It was getting dark, and under the canopy of the woods it gets even darker still, with roots sticking out all over the place. So I guess it should come as no great surprise that I took a head first tumble, came down quite hard and my left elbow took most of the force of the fall, while thankfully preventing me from face-planting. But as a result my left shoulder now feels pretty beaten up.
I had a swim session at the lake booked this evening that I might have to skip but I’ll see how I feel.
But regardless – the important bit is I made it back into the 17 stone range – just barely, but it all counts – so I’m 17 stone 13lbs now (251 lbs / 113.85kgs), and making great progress! 16 stone, here we come! 😀
