I want to begin by telling you how I almost cried the day I got my latest blood test results, showing I’d gone from 79mmol/mol (9.4%) blood sugar to 42 mmol/mol (6%). And more importantly, how I went from 18 hours of nerve pain and numbness to being pain-free, and type 2 diabetes-free! In just three months! All with entirely free lifestyle changes and zero diabetes medication!
If I did it – you can too!

It almost felt like a miracle.
When I first got my diagnosis, way back in July 2023, I knew very little about the disease, and my research threw up all kinds of scary terms like “chronic” and “life-threatening”, as well as a whole new vocabulary of equally worrying terms like “diabetic neuropathy” and “retinopathy”.
Maybe like you, I felt disheartened. Type 2 Diabetes is a chronic disease, often viewed as a slow, silent killer and just something I’d have to live with, right?
Wrong! At least, it doesn’t have to be that way!
I had one or two slight advantages, taken from both my professional and personal life, that gave me a different perspective, and I was able to take those advantages and prove that assumption wrong by REVERSING my type 2 diabetes in just 100 days – barely three months!
It cost me next to nothing! In fact, arguably, I saved money in the process!
On this site, I share with you exactly how I did it, step by step!
Before I go much further, let me be clear. I am not a doctor, personal trainer, or health guru! I am just a regular guy who, in his mid-50’s, was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes.
When I was diagnosed, I had been blogging on and off about my weight loss journey for some time. I’d had brief periods of success followed by rebounds. Nothing seemed to really work. I’m sure if you’re here, you likely had similar experiences.
In the end, what motivated me to change was my first symptoms of diabetic neuropathy. Let me tell you, when you start to experience nerve pain and numbness that lasts for 18 hours, it really makes you think! I was scared. No, I was literally terrified!
But I decided I was not going to be another victim of this disease. I did my homework, and leveraging everything I already knew from my own experiences – my weight loss successes and failures – and my own extensive research, I came up with a protocol that stopped my Type 2 Diabetes in its tracks.
Since then, I have barely had more than a tingle of nerve pain, halved my hypertension medication, and in just three months, I have reversed my type 2 diabetes entirely.
I know there are many of you out there in the same boat – according to current statistics, the figure is rapidly approaching 600 million type 2 diabetes sufferers worldwide.
This site is dedicated to all of you, my Type 2 Diabetes family! I genuinely hope that my experience will give you the confidence to turn around your own type 2 diabetes and reclaim your own health the way I have.
Simple – but not necessarily easy
And before I get you hooked on the hard sell (hint – there is none – it’s all free of charge!) – I’m here to tell you that it was simple, but it wasn’t easy. I’d love to be able to tell you that you could achieve what I did without making any lifestyle changes, but that just isn’t true.
If you seriously want to get your diabetes under control, then changes will need to be made, and I’m hoping I can help you understand why and motivate you to take the necessary action.
It was quick, but it wasn’t straightforward. One of the most important lessons you will learn is that “life gets in the way.” From fainting episodes and shingles to a shock redundancy, I’ll tell you about the many trials and tribulations I faced along the way and how I laughed them off and carried on.
And I can tell you that when you see your blood test results – whether it takes you three months, or six months, or even a year – when you see those results that show you have fully controlled your diabetes for optimal health, it will be the best feeling you’ve had in a very long time.
The catch!? No snake oil pitch here!๐
What’s the catch? There is none!
I must confess, I originally thought about launching this as a business. Why? I was recently made redundant, and while that was a shock, it initially gave me the motivation to see if I could turn this success into a business. However, my perspective shifted.
I joined a few Facebook groups and realised two things.
- The vast majority of diabetics are not willing or able to make changes to their lifestyle. They have bought into the medical profession’s lines about “management” of their “long-term chronic condition.” They are not going to pay someone for advice that they won’t follow – and frankly, I’d feel bad taking their money from them!
- For those who are willing to make radical changes, there are several free Facebook groups that are already telling the same story I am. At least, in large part. I do believe I have a unique three-pronged attack that works supremely well to rapidly reverse the condition. But I think my target audience to “sell” that idea to is quite small, and frankly, I have no idea how to find that audience and make enough money out of this as a business.
So I’m not here to sell you snake oil. Or sell you anything for that matter!
I ultimately decided to keep the site entirely free and instead add a ‘buy me a (keto) coffee’ button which you’ll see on the top of each page and floating around as well. If you find my guidance saves you from the ‘snake oil’ or helps you reclaim your health, then a small voluntary contribution helps keep this resource online for others.
Caveat
There are no miracle cures here! If you’re the kind of person who likes to read the last page of a book before beginning, I can tell you how this one ends right up front.
You WILL need to change your diet, and quite radically. You will need to practise intermittent fasting, at least to some extent. And you will need to increase your exercise.
If you aren’t prepared to try all three, I can save you some time right now! I am very sure there will be a snake-oil salesman along shortly to beguile you with tales of a genuine no-effort miracle cure! ๐
I’m also going to be honest and tell you that “your mileage may vary,” as the saying goes. Even if you follow my program to the letter and do everything I did, you may not get results quite as fast as I did. I had previous experience with all three of the main pillars of my program (ketogenic diets, intermittent fasting, exercise), and so had a certain amount of “muscle memory” to draw on, which meant I probably got results faster than you will.
And you will also need to remember that simply reversing type 2 diabetes doesn’t fix all your problems. If you have diabetic neuropathy/retinopathy or comorbid hypertension, these are all conditions that will have their own separate schedule. I’ll talk a little bit about my experience with some of my co-morbidities that might at least help you understand yours better.
While reversing diabetes is mostly about the fuel you put in your engine, these other conditions are about how your fuel changes the plumbing and the engine itself.
So I’m sure you will understand that changing the fuel is relatively simple. It might take a few months to clear out all the traces of the old fuel, but it’s a pretty straightforward process. But the plumbing itself is going to take some time to adapt to the new, higher-quality fuel you’ll be feeding it.
I can certainly help you change the fuel, and if you follow my simple steps you will see your blood sugar levels drop just as I did. I was shocked how easy it was once I was motivated.
And while I’ve hit my original target – remission from Type 2 diabetes – I still have a way to go to my ultimate target. So feel free to follow along for the rest of my journey.
I genuinely want other people to see the kind of incredible results I’ve seen and I am convinced there is no magic to reversing diabetes. Just some simple principles, applied consistently.
